She honed these skills during a TV news career spanning more than 25 years, presenting news for the BBC, Channel 4 News, ITV News and 5News.

At Channel 4 she was also a specialist reporter covering consumer, business and economic news. She was a finalist at the Business Journalist of the Year Awards in 2009 and received a Special Commendation in 2008 at the Personal Finance Awards.

Bridgid is Managing Director at PA Media Academy, the specialist media, communications and journalism training company which is part of the PA Media Group. She was named Outstanding Woman in Professional Services at the 2018 Precious Awards, in recognition of her work as a media trainer, coaching spokespeople and press/comms teams in public speaking, media interview performance and media relations/strategy.
